Charlotte and Mommy say goodbye to SF

Charlotte and I took one last trip to the city before our big move back to
So Cal. We decided to check out the California Academy of Sciences at Golden Gate Park - it had been closed the entire time we lived in the Bay Area, and it sounded pretty cool.

We took not 1 but 2 bridges to get there - here's a picture of us crossing the Richmond Bridge (via camera phone...)

And here's a picture of us crossing the Golden Gate (obviously a beautiful day - no fog at the GG bridge):

Without a stroller for Miss Charlotte we weren't able to cover as much ground, but we did get to check out the cool indoor rainforest, which replicates different layers of the rainforest in different countries.

You can see "underneath" the sea in the exhibit - sort of trippy to see people underwater (bottom right)...

The top level of the exhibit represents Costa Rica, complete with butterflies all around:

Here's a picture of the "living roof" - this is the actual roof of the museum (don't ask me to recite all the information about it...you can google it)

And here's a picture of the Bay Bridge (lower deck) - going back to Berkeley:

Goodbye San Francisco!
