One other thing...

I forgot to mention this in my previous post on the 4th of July. Back when we were down for Thanksgiving, Jake and I drove by our first house in Long Beach, over on Elko Street. At that point, our cute little 2 bed/1 bath 1018 square foot bungalow was no more. The owners had torn down most of the walls and were adding on to the house.

Little did we know that we would drive by on July 3rd and see this:

This must be a 3000+ square foot monstrosity where our cute little bungalow once stood. Times, they are a changing...
