Our first piece of "real" art!

Back in October when we visited Aunt Michele (and waited for our house in Berkeley to sell) we had an opportunity to see her work (she's a painter) and the work of many other artists in the Santa Cruz area. We fell in love with one of Michele's paintings, and today we became the proud owners of that painting! Here it is:



It is on our dining room wall, where you can see it from almost anywhere in the house (guess that tells you how small our living space is...). These pictures most certainly do not do it justice - it is just amazing.

Aunt Michele even came down from Santa Cruz to personally install it - thanks Aunt Michele! (and to Jordan for facilitating the trip down)
